NIHM has dozens of flyers and factsheets for many specific mental health causes. From specific disorders, to demographics, to causes and solutions, NIHM has detailed flyers for free, along with additional information.

Make Your Own Flyers
Make your own flyers on Canva or some other tool! Provide general support, links to helpful organizations, and/or advice on dealing with mental health.

Erika's Lighthouse
Erika's Lighthouse has a multitude of flyers and resources for spreading awareness for mental health. You need to create a free account using your email to access these materials, but they are very helpful.

Start a Club
Erika's Lighthouse-
Teen Empowerment Club
Go to www.erikaslighthouse.org and create a free account in order learn about and create a Teen Empowerment Club. These clubs are a great way to talk about mental health with people your age in a guided and judgement-free environment. Erika's Lighthouse also includes many resources for clubs to run meetings, fundraise, and spread awareness.
Active Minds-
Chapter
Go to activeminds.org/programs/chapter-network/ and see about starting a chapter in your school or campus. Chapters lead conversation, culture change, and advocacy throughout their communities. Chapter have access to resources, ideas, professional expertise, and networks, all for free.

Mental Health Spirit Week
Active Minds has a spirit week which emphasizes five pillars of awareness, education, advocacy, connection, and community, for each day. The recommended days for this spirit week are October 17-21, but you can pick any week if you wish to participate.

Post on Social Media
Posting or reposting on social media is a great way to reduce stigma and raise awareness for mental health.

Hold a Fundraiser
Hold a fundraiser for any of the organizations under the donate tab. Have a bake sale, start a GoFundMe, hold a sports event, make bracelets, or do anything else! Make sure to research thoroughly and tell people exactly where donations will go towards.

Open Conversation
Have open conversation with your friends about mental health. Discuss problems you face and be open about your mental health. Make sure you remember, however, that friends are not supposed to fill the role of a liscensed therapist.
